Dieses System bietet nebst den üblichen Single-Socket Xeon E3 12XX v3 (Haswell) Annehmlichkeiten 6 (!) 10Gbps RJ45 Buchsen, die über Onboard Intel X540 Chips bedient werden. Diese sind mittels einer PLX PCIe Switch verbunden und bieten so hypothetisch bis zu 60Gbps Bandbreite.
Kurzgesagt ist dieses System zwar absolut merkwürdig, aber super liebenswürdig für jeden Anwender der eine Basis für einen 10Gbps Router / Firewall auf X86 Hardware sucht.
Der Server wurde von uns getestet, das BIOS und IPMI auf den neusten Stand gebracht und eine frische VARTA Batterie verbaut. Es ist daher nach Installation passender Komponenten sofort einsatzfähig.

This Server offers you besides the common Single-Socket Xeon E3 12XX v3 (Haswell) Goodies 6 (!) 10Gbps RJ45 Jacks that are powered via the Onboard Intel X540 Chips. Those are connected via a PLX PCIe Switch and offer you a hypothetical Bandwidth of up to 60Gbps in Total.
So long Story short, this System is a bit of an Oddball, but is absolutely sweet and loveable. Its an absolute Gem, maybe for someone who wants to make a 10Gbps Firewall or Router with X86 Hardware.
This System was tested by our Technicans, its BIOS and IPMI was update to the newest available Firmware and a fresh CMOS Battery has been installed. After the Installation of suitable Components you are ready to roll.
