Dieses gebrauchte 4U Supermicro CSE-847 Server Storage Chassis bietet mit seinen 36 x 3.5"Hhot-Swap SAS/SATA Laufwerksschächten eine enorm hohe Speicherdichte auf 4HE. Durch die Supermicro BPN-SAS2-846EL1 SAS Expander Backplane sowie einer weiteren BPN-SAS2-826EL1 werden SAS2 oder SATA3 Laufwerke mit einem Datendurchsatz von maximal 6Gbps unterstützt. Gleichzeitig führt die BPN-SAS2-826EL1 zwei external SAS Verbindungen auf die Rückseite des Servers und kann so weitere Storage-Geräte ansprechen. (2x SFF-8087 auf der Rückseite)
In diesem 4U Gehäuse findet zusätzlich ein Mainboard mit der max. Größe/Form Faktor EE-ATX (13.68" x 13"), E-ATX (12" x 13"), ATX (12" x 10") seinen Platz, aktuell ist ein X9DRD-7LN4F-JBOD verbaut, dieses bietet neben 4x 1Gbps I350 Netzwerkports auch einen integrierten Broadcom 2308 JBOD IT-Mode Controller.
Zusammen mit einem Hot-Swap fähigem 1280 Watt 80+ Platinum Netzteil bietet dieses zuverlässige und einsatzerprobte Gehäuse eine Basis um neue Systeme darauf aufzubauen.
Zusätzlich verbauen wir zwei Intel Xeon E5-2670 v0 CPUs (8 Kerne, 16 Threads) und 4x 8GB DDR3 ECC RDIMM um so sofort loslegen zu können.

This used 4U Supermicro CSE-847 server storage chassis offers 36 x 3.5" hot-swap SAS/SATA drive bays and an enormously high storage density on 4U. The Supermicro BPN-SAS2-846EL1 SAS expander backplane and a further BPN-SAS2-826EL1 support SAS2 or SATA3 drives with a maximum data throughput of 6Gbps.
At the same time, the BPN-SAS2-826EL1 leads two external SAS connections to the rear of the server and can thus address further storage devices. (2x SFF-8087 on the rear)
In this 4U enclosure there is also room for a mainboard with the max. size/shape factor EE-ATX (13.68" x 13"), E-ATX (12" x 13"), ATX (12" x 10"), currently an X9DRD-7LN4F-JBOD is installed, this offers 4x 1Gbps I350 network ports as well as an integrated Broadcom 2308 JBOD IT mode controller.
